Twin-Tailed Inferno-Tooth Tigers are a species of mammalian magical creatures that are connected to the Sun Primal. They are also known as "Hotcats".[1]
Appearance
Twin-Tailed Inferno-Tooth Tigers are orange, dark orange, cream, gray, and teal-furred feline creatures resembling lions, with long teal horns and twin tails with flames at the tips. Their front paws lack fur and resemble scaled bird feet, and they have a thick mane around their neck. Two wings are located on their backs and their eyes are completely teal.

Information
The Twin-Tailed Inferno-Tooth Tiger (named by the Sunfire Elves, widely known for their lack of restraint and subtlety) is native to the warm grasslands to the west of Lux Aurea. Second only to dragons, it is the primary predator of western Xadia. One of the only creatures of the Sun Primal Source to be gifted with wings, the Inferno-Tooth Tiger can hunt by land and sky alike.
The Sunfire Elves have managed to domesticate a handful of these creatures, but raising and training them is highly dangerous and often unpredictable work. Inferno-Tooth Tigers have short tempers and very, very sharp teeth. Some “domesticated” cats have attacked and injured their riders after years of otherwise peaceful companionship.
There is a belief among some Sunfire Elves that the Inferno-Tooth Tiger can sense the purity of one's heart, like the light of the Sun itself. Believers say that the unpredictability of the cats' temperament is not simple viciousness: instead, it is the tiger's ability to sense evil thoughts, causing it to lash out. Should a rider remain pure of heart, they claim, their tiger shall not bare its teeth to them.[2]
Tamed Inferno-Tooth Tigers and their riders sometimes participate in "Hotcat Races".[3]

- The sketch featuring Soren is a reference to a cut scene where Soren was originally planned to steal one of the tigers from Lux Aurea to reach the Storm Spire but was deemed too random.[4]
