Callum, Rayla, Ezran, Soren, Zym, Bait and Stella stand on the carved stone platform at the top of the Storm Spire with the sun rising in the distance. Ibis' body lies under a sheet covered in blue roses.
Callum, do you know the Draconic words? The ones Zubeia said?
Callum steps forward, picks up Ibis' staff and traces his fingers across the metal plates on the staff. The Sky Primal Stone glowing in the centre. Callum traces a glowing rune in the air.
A wind scatters the roses off the blanket. Ibis' body transforms into a flock of small blue birds with similar face markings which fly away. Ezran steps forward and stands next to Callum. Zubeia flies over their heads with a loud roar. Later Callum sits on the edge of the platform and hangs his head. Rayla approaches him.
It's like she said, it's all connected. It must have been Aaravos whispering to my dad through this mirror all along. Now he's gone. Claudia is powerful, desperate... and she's picking up where he left off. Plus that's her bracelet.
Stella stands next to two of Claudia's snake bracelets. She jumps away and hops onto Rayla's leg.
We don't know where she is, but we do know what she's looking for. We have to find it first. Zubeia, you told us that Aaravos's prison was a secret. That each of the Archdragons had a piece of the puzzle. With their help, could we solve it before Claudia does?
[Exhales] Perhaps. Rex Igneous, the Archdragon of Earth, he may hold a clue to the prison's location. Rex lives beneath the great mountain of Umber Tor. Come, we fly.
No. You stay here, Zym. It is too dangerous. I will not lose you again.
She circles the Storm Spire before she flies off to the East.
Scene Change
The chrysalis creature watches from a distance, then scampers into the forest leaving a trail of strange goo behind. Claudia, Terry and Viren watch the creature.
The creature moves closer and looks at Viren with curiosity. Claudia narrows her eyes and watch his closely. The creature unfurls its iridescent wings, widens at Viren and screams with bright green goo spraying from it's mouth. Viren wipes the goo from his face.
At the Sunfire settlement Amaya walks through the camp and intervenes in an argument between a human guard and a Sunfire Elf soldier. She spots Gren closeby with a group of humans and Sunfire Elves. Amaya runs to him and they embrace. She pulls back and signs.
[While signing] I'm fine. There was a disagreement in the camp about an open flame. Things got... well, heated, and one of the human civilians was injured. Her name is Lucia. She's the chief architect. She came from Katolis to help set up the camp, and fix up the ruins.
Lucia sits inside a tent with her hands wrapped in bandages.
There it is. The Great Mountain of the East. Umber Tor.
She flies toward the snow capped mountain. Zubeia flies around the mountain and lands at a platform near the gates that lead inside the mountain. The group dismounts from her head and approaches the giant doors. Ezran walks up to the doors and knocks on it.
The giants step aside. Chert carries a wooden staff, he inserts it into an iron wheel and turns it. Terbium turns an identical wheel at the other side of the gates. The wheels move heavy chains that slowly open the gates. A cloud of stone dust falls down as the gates open. Zubeia shields the group with her wings. As the dust settles they see a pile of rocks that block the entrance.
Hmm, what do you do if I add just a touch of dirt, bit more ooze, swirl it just so. Hm. Not too sticky. Ooh. Satiny. Supple. Has a lovely "stretch" to it as well. [gasps] You're perfect.
The creature stops, turns around and slaps his hands on his head. Viren and Claudia exchange a look. The creature makes some moves with his arms and jumps.
Breathe it in, everyone. [sniffs] You smell that? It's the smell of adventure. Callum, you with me, adventure. Come on. Let's get our adventuring spirits up. Anyone know any adventuring songs?
Everyone hides behind a gnarled tree. An Earthblood Elf flies overhead riding a dragon followed by another elf on a dragon. Soren and Rayla hold their swords at the ready.
I don't think so. The Riders are known for viciously protecting their turf from trespassers, and then throwing them into a hole called the Pit of Despair.
Oh, they're mad at me? I'm the one who was injured. I worked my hands raw for these elves, and now look at what they've done to me. I want to go back to my tent. I don't need your guards.
Lucia stands but Amaya puts her hand on her shoulder and sits her back down.
Look, when you left, it hurt him bad. Real bad. He was miserable. And now you're back. That's kind of good, and it's kind of bad. But it's mostly just weird. And one thing I always say: sometimes you need time to work through the weird. And then it'll work out. Or not. The heart do what it do, or don't what it don't.
They run through thick brush toward a ravine, then hide behind some trees. In the ravine an adult Earthblood elf swings a bola at a dragon as a young elf hides behind a rock. The dragon backs away. Golden light from the bola swings above the elf’s head. He glances at the child.
But things aren't like they were. And she messed them up, and when she came back, I was so happy... but so mad at the same time. I wish I could just forgive her, but it, it, it's so hard.
I'm Soren. And you're the first villain in my adventure.
He blows on a lock of hair which hangs in front of his face and wields his sword. The elf spins the bola and charges towards Soren. Soren swings his sword but misses. He and the elf battle back and forth. The elf flings the bola, it wraps around Soren's sword and disarms him. Soren looks down at his empty hands and cringes.
The elf charges toward Soren and punches him in the face. Soren falls to the ground. He stands as the dragon roars at him. The elf picks up the sword. He waggles it at Soren and Soren puts his hands in the air and surrenders. Then he looks up at a gourd above him.
Oh, he's fine. Watch, he'll come back reciting an epic poem about his adventuring. He's probably late because he's stuck thinking of a rhyme for "legendary heroics."
Rayla walks off.
Scene Change
In another part of the Drakewood, two elves toss Soren into a deep pit. Soren groans while he lands on a bone, then he tosses it aside. He gets to his feet and looks around at the pit.
