Star Dragons are one of the six classes of dragons found in Xadia. They possess a connection to the magical energy of the Stars. They are one of the few magical creatures that possess a connection to this Primal Source next to the Startouch Elves, Adoraburrs, Cuddlemonkeys, Shimmercrows, Starweaver Spiders, and unicorns.
They are the rarest of all dragons, and like Startouch Elves, their existence has only been suggested by a few ancient sources. What little is known about them is legend and a few bare facts. Behind them hide beings as brilliant as the Stars themselves.
There is currently no evidence of the existence of an Archdragon of the Stars in Xadia, and their kind is generally as mysterious as any other Star creature.[1]
Star Devourer Dragons[]
|
Star Devourer Dragons are notorious for flying through the core of a star and absorbing the magic stored within. The eldest of all elves tell legends about these dragons, of Stars disappearing from the heavens. The only stories of Star Devourer Dragons involve rituals designed to repel them from approaching Xadia and its Sun. The Sunfire Elves practice an ancient chant to keep them at bay. It is said that the mere sight of these creatures plunges a person into delirium, leaving no evidence of the Star Devourer Dragons' true appearance.[1]
Void Dragons[]
Void Dragons are rumored to be impossibly powerful dragons that live in the ultimate darkness between the stars. Not much else is known about these dragons.[1]

Trivia[]
- According to an old elven legend, a Void Dragon's bone once fulfilled a king's wish to be remembered forever. Although his legend remains, his name has long faded from history. It cannot be confirmed whether or not the bone exists.[1]
- The Archdragons, as well as a select few elves who revere and guard knowledge of the Star Primal's powers, may know more about the subject of Star Dragons than they let on.[1]
