Pharos was a Sunfire Elf from Lux Aurea, the former Sunfire High Priest, and a fixture at Queen Khessa's side. His direct connection to the Sun Primal helped him channel the incalculable power of the Sunforge.[1] He was believed to have been killed after Aaravos possessed his body,[2] but he somehow managed to survive and pledged his loyalty to Prince Karim.[3] However, it was revealed that Aaravos used his body as a vessel before Sol Regem devoured and choked on his corpse.[4]
Appearance[]
Pharos was a dark-skinned Sunfire Elf with blue eyes and a bald head. His Sunfire High Priest attire consisted of a black shirt and pants underneath a white vest adorned with gold and a red belt. He wore a golden headpiece in front of his red horns with white markings below his eyes and running down his chin. Golden greaves protected his legs while golden shoes covered his feet. He also wielded a Sun staff decorated with a Sun Primal Stone that was circled by metal plates resembling rays of sunlight, as well as two orange ribbons that displayed elven runes before Aaravos's corruption burned them.
Two years after the fall of Lux Aurea, Pharos's attire consisted only of his black shirt and pants, as well as a red scarf around his neck.[3] When Karim waged war against Janai, Pharos's clothing resembled his old Sunfire High Priest attire, but with more black instead of white.[5]
Personality[]
Pharos was a stoic and loyal retainer of Queen Khessa who obeyed her commands without hesitance and question.[6][2] After the fall of Lux Aurea, Pharos decided to join Karim in their campaign of restoring the old glory of the Sunfire Elves.[3] He also did his best in hiding the infection that Aaravos gave him so that his alliance with Karim would not be jeopardized. Despite his unwavering allegiance to Karim, Pharos questioned the idea of enlisting the help of the blood-drinking Kim'dael since it is not exactly in line with the righteous Sunfire Elf ways.[7]
However, it was revealed that Aaravos used his body as a vessel after he was able to heal Sol Regem's wings, leading him to Katolis[5] where, after they destroyed the castle, was killed by Sol Regem after Aaravos provoked him over the reveal of the death of the Archdragon's beloved mate, Aithne Solaire.[4]
