Osato was a Sunfire Elf from Lux Aurea who was a captain of the Sunfire Armies and a good friend of Prince Karim. He was killed by Tijana after he succumbed to the infection of the Sunforge's corruption.[1]
Appearance[]
As a Sunfire Elf, Osato had long, pointed ears, thick horns that bent backward, and a dark complexion. He was taller and more muscular than most of his people, with his short red hair styled into dreadlocks, and a pair of earrings hanging from his long ears. He also wore a red glove on his right hand that would eventually be worn by Karim.[1]
Personality[]
As a young boy, Osato was said to be as strong and as stubborn as Sunfire Elves twice his age. Upon growing up, he became a loyal Sunfire Army captain who prioritized the safety of those he cared about over other concerns. He developed a strategic mind, for he knew that the corrupted monsters of Lux Aurea were too much for him and his comrades to handle, and chose to abandon their mission so that they could come up with a better plan. He was also not willing to leave other soldiers behind and intended to search for them despite his infected wound.[1]
History[]
Osato became good friends with Karim during their childhood, and they would often play Bannerman's Run in the same team. As Osato grew, he joined Lux Aurea's Sunfire Armies and became one of its captains.[1]

After Darkness[]
Osato joins Karim, a Katolian human soldier named Tijana, and several other Sunfire Elf soldiers in an attempt to reclaim the corrupted Lux Aurea. Osato kills a corrupted Banther after Tijana tackles Karim out of the beast's way. When the soldiers that accompanied them became infected by the Sunforge's corruption, Osato leads Karim and Tijana in their escape from Lux Aurea. When the trio was far from the city's gates, Osato ignores the infected wound on his left arm and plans to search for survivors before the corruption starts to take hold of him. Osato pleaded for his left arm to be cut off, and despite Tijana fulfilling his request, he succumbs to the corruption and starts attacking both of his friends. It is when Osato turns his attention to Karim that Tijana is forced to kill him to save the Sunfire Prince. A devastated Karim forces the grieving Tijana to leave so that he can mourn and bury Osato on his own. He then puts on Osato's red glove after vowing to banish the darkness from Lux Aurea.
