The Mage Wars / Judgement of the Half-Moon
The Mage Wars, also known inside Xadia as "Judgement of the Half-Moon", was the era following the banishment of humanity into the western part of the continent, due to their use of dark magic. The era dating back 1000 years before the current era goes by two names depending on location: In the east, it is the era of Luna Tenebris, the Queen of the Dragons during this time. She ultimately ruled to spare the humans, but banished them to the west on a day that would become known as "Judgement of the Half-Moon". In the west, it is an era known as "The Mage Wars", where humans began settling in the western side of the continent and powerful mages began rising as warlords, battling for resources and land. This went on until eventually the Human Kingdoms began taking shape over the decades and centuries.[3]
