Lucia is a human woman from Katolis and the chief architect responsible for the construction of the Sunfire Elves' temporary camp site after the fall of Lux Aurea.[1]
Appearance[]
Lucia is a muscular woman with brown skin, green eyes, and a light green bandana covering her black hair. Her attire of choice is a sleeveless white and blue shirt with dark gray pants and brown boots.[1] Bandages are wrapped around both of her hands after Yonnis unintentionally burned them.[2]
Personality[]
Lucia is a headstrong woman, but was initially lacking in respect for others' traditional customs and rashly ruined a sacred rite, a mourning ceremony, of a Sunfire Elf named Yonnis burning a Soul Candle to say farewell to his recently deceased mother, simply because she was concerned the fire would endanger the camp Lucia had painstakingly put together for the refugees.[1]
At first being unapologetic and believing herself to be in the right, and even speaking unkindly of the elves' "superstitions" rather than to acknowledge that she been disrespectful or cruel, Lucia was made the subject of tensions and discontent between the humans and the Sunfire Elves. After being spared an execution during the trial held for her crimes, and being ordered to build a shrine where the Soul Candles could burn safely and properly, Lucia was humbled and grateful for Janai's decision, and promised she would make it her greatest work.[3]
