Laurelion was a Startouch Elf whose physical form was destroyed by the Archdragon Shiruakh 3000 years before the birth of Azymondias.[1] His physical death was then written about in the poem "The Death of the Immortal", which stated "immortal Laurelion was no more", and this poem could be found in the Great Bookery of Lux Aurea.[2]
Appearance[]
Laurelion had midnight blue skin, silver or white hair that was kept short, and two tined purple horns that were pickaxe-shaped with a helmet on top. He wore a dark caped armor inspired by the Stars. He also wielded a spear and a shield during his battle against Shiruakh.[1]

Star Primal Connection[]
As a Startouch Elf, Laurelion drew power from the Stars.[2] After Shiruakh destroyed Laurelion's mortal vessel with a fatal bite,[1] the Startouch Elf's essence returned to the heavens and he can physically manifest when his stars align with Xadia again.[3]
Trivia[]
- "Laurelion" is a portmanteau of "Laurel" and "Aurelion". "Laurel" means "bay tree" in Latin, and "Aurelion" is similar to that of "Aurélien", which is the French variation of the Latin name "Aurelius" that means "golden".[4][5] Therefore, "Laurelion" can be translated as "golden bay tree".
