Sneezles and Jellybug[]
Hat is very close with Sneezles and Jellybug, for they are almost always seen together.[1]
Team Zym[]
Team Zym rescued Hat, Sneezles, and Jellybug from Finnegrin at Ezran's behest, and they immediately grew very fond of the baby Glow Toads.[2] Hat swiftly imprinted on Soren, particularly after the latter and Zym rescued him from a hungry leviathan. Hat eventually earned his name for his habit of perching on Soren's head.[1]
Bait was initially jealous of Hat, Sneezles, and Jellybug.[1] However, he eventually mellowed out and allowed them to be around him.[3]

Finnegrin only saw Hat as a property and intended to use him, Sneezles, and Jellybug as bait for leviathans.[2]
