Annika and Neha were the former Queens of Duren and the mothers of Aanya. They arrived in Katolis to seek aid, desperate to make a better future for their people and their daughter.[1] They were both killed by the Dragon King Avizandum, whom they distracted so that the mission to retrieve the heart of a Magma Titan could succeed.[2]
Appearances
Annika had short white hair with split bangs and sideburns that reached past her shoulders and onto her chest. She had dark blue eyes and a white scar stretching over the left side of her face. Her cheeks were rosy, especially near the ocular area, and she wore white lipstick. Contrasting her wife, Annika had a tan skin color. Her outfit consisted of a black, long-sleeved armor shirt with gold embroidery on the chest area. A circlet-like crown laid underneath her bangs, with an indigo circle in the center and pins sticking out at the top, as well as another, differently colored part of hair coming out from the back of the crown. The hair was dyed in a blue-black color and shaded off into a clearer, yellowish color at the end of each strand, both of which were tied at the end. Finally, a black sword was carried on her back, a weapon that fit her color palette, and was one-handed.
Neha's appearance stood in stark contrast to Annika's. She possessed darker skin, as well as dark brown hair, tied in small beads on her chest, and blue makeup. Her clothes were colored in a deep shade of blue and gold, and the flower motif on them appeared to be somewhat different compared to the one Annika had. Neha also wore additional armor, using more extensive shoulder protections and a neckplate to protect herself.
Personalities
Annika and Neha cared deeply for their daughter Aanya and their people and were willing to travel to another kingdom to ask for help when famine plagued Duren.[3] They were also courageous warriors and would not hesitate to sacrifice their lives so that others may live.[2]
Neha was typically the voice of reason, while Annika spoke from the heart.[1]
