History[]
Allen was born into Katolis at an unknown point and became a resident of a village located at the foot of the Cursed Caldera.[1]
First Saga[]
Allen accepted Tristan's challenge of using one of his larger swords against the latter's Sunforge dagger. After Tristan used his dagger to hack the sword into smaller pieces, Allen felt humiliated by the laughing crowd and ran way in tears. Allen later joined Tristan's mob in chasing Team Zym out of the town, only to stop when they realized that they were heading to the Cursed Caldera.[1]
Several days later, Allen met and fell in love with the Moonshadow Elf Lujanne who was exploring Katolis disguised as a human.[2]
Allen, Lujanne, and Team Zym reunited at the Moon Nexus to witness Phoe-Phoe's rebirth before he spent some time sparring with Soren using wooden swords. Allen eventually helped Callum and Rayla in reconstructing the Moonhenge with the belief of it being a surprise for Lujanne before he and the rest of Team Zym rescued both of them from becoming permanently trapped in the plane between life and death.[3]
Second Saga[]
Allen started to live with Lujanne and Phoe-Phoe at the Moon Nexus when he reunited with Callum and Rayla. He witnessed Lujanne helping the couple use the Corona of the Heavens to free Tiadrin, Lain, and Runaan from Viren's enchanted coins.[4][5]
After Runaan was freed, Allen helped him recover before letting him go with Rayla and Callum back to the Silvergrove.[6] When Claudia stabbed Lujanne for trying to pose as Lissa, Allen rushed to Lujanne's aid.[7] Allen and Team Zym helped Lujanne recover from her wound and he was later among the crowd that celebrated the construction of the city of Evrkynd.[8]
Book One - Moon[]
The Dagger and the Wolf[]
Allen makes his presence known after Tristan flaunted his Sunforge dagger and almost challenged Rayla into a duel. As Allen brandishes his sword, he informs Tristan that he is not even wielding his biggest sword. Tristan draws his dagger and dodges Allen's attacks while simultaneously hacking the latter's sword into pieces. Humiliated by the laughing crowd, Allen cries and runs away. He later joins the angry mob that chases Team Zym into the Cursed Caldera.
Book Two - Sky[]
A Secret and a Spark[]
Allen briefly appears in a flashback as Callum recounts his adventure.
Through the Moon[]
Allen appears before Rayla, Callum, Ezran, Soren, and Bait when Lujanne reveals herself after pulling a prank on the group, where she uses hides and Allen's wood construction to make her illusion appear solid. When he refers to Lujanne as "Janey-Lu", Lujanne reveals that they are a couple and later tells the story of how he had courted her and asked her out for a date. When he noticed her missing fingers, a lot of pitchforks were involved, according to Lujanne. By nightfall, Allen joins Lujanne and Team Zym at the Moon Nexus in performing the rebirth ritual that revives Phoe-Phoe.
The next day, Allen participates in a sparring session with Soren using the wooden swords that the former provided before Rayla joins in. When he is later approached by Rayla and Callum about helping to reconstruct the Moonhenge, he is tricked into helping them by being convinced that he is working on a surprise for Lujanne. Allen helps the two build a wooden frame to hold parts of the Moonhenge's ruins before he and Soren call it a day at the end of the night. However, he soon joins the rest of Team Zym in witnessing Callum and Rayla opening the portal between life and death. Allen later comforts Lujanne when Rayla and Callum emerge safely from the Moon Nexus's lake, relieved that they narrowly avoided being trapped inside the portal between life and death.
Book Six - Stars[]
We All Fall Down[]
Allen is massaging Lujanne at the Moon Nexus when Phoe-Phoe arrives to inform them about Callum, Rayla, Stella, and Sneezles's arrival. Allen witnesses Lujanne inspecting the Quasar Diamonds on the Corona of the Heavens, and discovers that one of the gems is a normal purple rock. Allen tries to defuse the tension by commenting on the normal purple rock being a mineral and before praising Lujanne's beautiful eyes.
Stardust[]
Allen witnesses Lujanne helping Callum and Rayla in freeing Runaan from one of Viren's enchanted coins.
Book Seven - Dark[]
Death Alive[]
Allen helps Runaan recover after he was trapped in one of Viren's enchanted coins for two years, despite him wanting to return to the Silvergrove for Ethari.
Inversion[]
After Claudia stabbed Lujanne for using an illusion to pose as Lissa, the furious Allen attempts to attack the mage with his sword. However, Claudia casts an immobilizing spell that prevented him and Team Zym from stopping Aaravos's plan to invert the Moon Nexus. Allen and Team Zym help Lujanne survive her wound before retreating from the unleashed restless spirits.
Nova[]
Allen is among the crowd that witnesses the announcement of Evrkynd, a city where people of all races can live in harmony.References[]
